We are excited to announce that we are now providing 3D screening mammography in our office!
Mammogram screening for breast cancer is extremely important for all women. We recognize that it is often difficult to schedule the time for your annual GYN exam and then another appointment at a different location for your mammogram. Due to the inconvenience, some women postpone or skip their mammogram, which could result in missing an early detection of a breast issue.
By providing mammography in our office, we can ensure that women have immediate access to their screening mammogram, thus giving our patients a complete assessment of their GYN health in one visit. All of our mammograms are read by Radiologists with special training in Breast Imaging. Patients requiring diagnostic mammograms initially, or after their screening mammogram is read, will be referred to a radiology practice with the expertise and equipment to do those advanced studies.

The addition of this state-of-the-art 3D mammography to our office is a continuation of that commitment as we make this important breast cancer screening convenient for our patients with readings performed by a breast imaging expert.
